Born on 1944-Bandar Anzali ,Iran.
He has M.A in Archeology from Faculty of fine arts Tehran University, D.E.A. Islamic civilization studies from university of Sorbonne, France and PhD in Archeology and Architecture from university of Sorbonne, France.
He is professor of Architecture, photography and music in architectural department of Tehran University. He has displayed several exhibitions of his works in Iran and also France since 1979.He has started his photography career since 1963 but he professionally works in the architecture and nature field since 1966.
He had won many prizes such as:
Second prize water color, Iran high schools (1962)
Gold medal classical guitar, national competition, university of Iran (1966-1967-1968-1969)
First prize photography cultural heritage ministry of culture Iran (1974)
Special prize of the jury foreign student competition, Madrid, Spain (1975)
